Dear Friends,
I regret to inform you that due to an unexpected extension of Roger Waters' "The Wall" tour, Venice will be unable to perform on July 21 at Lake Arrowhead. The boys and I are extremely bummed about this. It's one of our favorite shows of the year, and it was to be our first gig celebrating their return home.

I understand that some of you may have made non-refundable reservations in Lake Arrowhead for this gig, so I hope the following news will soften the blow a little: I've arranged to fill the spot with Charlie Vaughn & the Daily Routine, featuring Myself, Mark Harris, Kipp's son Charlie, my daughter Avalon, and other great musicians. I promise you a fun night of music, dancing, and Rock 'n Roll. Both original songs and high energy cover tunes, exactly like Venice's Lake Arrowhead sets. It'll be a blast! I believe in making the best of a bad situation, and I hope you'll support me on this one.

Some of you might remember that on a warm August night in 1995, Venice was scheduled to play the legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood, when my wife Danielle went into labor after soundcheck.   I had to miss the gig, but Venice family legends Pete Valenzuela and Chris Horvath stepped up to fill my shoes and play my parts.   Shots were flowing, people were singing, everyone had a great time and it wound up being a hugely memorable night for all who attended.

The show must go on.   Let's party!

Best,
Michael - Venice
